The city separately publishes an Alcohol Permit Application. Clarify which local permit applies to your operation and whether the project proposes service beyond the existing establishment. Prepare the intended premises boundaries and activities for discussion with the city and ABC; a license record alone does not show every approved service area.

Match the state license to the business

California ABC issues the state license. Type 41 is for beer-and-wine eating places; Type 47 is for general eating places.
